The Volkstheater brings out "Baby Doll" on the 10th of September as the first German performance of the play.
Vendetta, violence and dependence in the atmosphere of the Southern-States-Mugginess dominate the play "Baby Doll" by Tennessee Williams, having been a scandal film in 1956, coming out now on the stage of the Volkstheater. The play is about a non-successfull cotton-farmer, his much-younger wife, who refuses to consummate their marriage, and his job- and lovelife-rival. The main parts are played by Rainer Frieb, Katharina Straßer and Marcello de Nardo.
