Horror, fantasy, and science fiction movies get their own festival with „/slash“ at the Vienna Filmcasino starting September 23.
25 movies in this genre are presented, most of them are screened for the first time in Austria. The organizers want to offer the opportunity to see horror, fantasy, and science fiction movies from all over the world not only on DVD but on the large screen of the Filmcasino. "We want to strengthen the community and to have the fantastic cinema leave a footprint in Austria's cultural landscape,“ says organizer Markus Keuschnigg. Among the movies are „The Road“ by John Hillcoat and „L. A. Zombie“ by Bruce La Bruce.
