Landesmuseum Burgenland is marking the state’s 90th anniversary with an exhibition showing 90 objects that tell 90 stories. The typewriter used to write the state anthem, brushes that painted landscapes, the chip card providing access to the EU parliament – each of these exhibits evokes people and events that contributed to the formation of a region and its identity. And a story can express how the whole is more than the sum of its parts.
